Green Thumb Organics Farms

Providing healthy, organic food for his community is at the heart of Rudy Jimenez’s mission as a farmer. Growing up in a farmworker family, he founded Green Thumb Organics, a four-acre certified organic farm in San Juan Bautista, California, to do just that. In contrast to large-scale conventional farms in the area, Green thumb Organics Farms sells produce direct to the public at farmers markets, like the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in San Francisco, Via CUESA which has been instrumental in growing his farm business as well as Heart of The City Farmers Market; He gives back to his community by offering health education programs on the farm and farm-fresh meals for children of farmworkers for both self care and wellness via Urban Arts Collaborative
